Privacy and Security Statement
Introduction
EarthSpec values the privacy of our clients, their employees, and students. For this very reason, we have included the following information pertaining to the privacy and security practices of our company.
Privacy
When it comes to the collection of our clients’ data and its use, EarthSpec LLC proceeds very conscientiously. We use this information solely for internal purposes to assist your district with transportation related matters and to fulfill the terms of our services. As part of our operating procedures, EarthSpec LLC collects student, employee, and route information only when it is voluntarily provided to us. We do not contact students, employees, or other district vendors unless it is necessary to fulfill the parameters of our service contract and we have permission from a district administrator. In addition, we do not release any district data, analysis results, or findings with any outside parties.
No Rent or Sell Policy: As company policy dictates, EarthSpec LLC does not rent or sell client information to anyone.
Data Security
We take the security of district data and the reliability of our computer network very seriously. As a result, each workstation/server within our office requires a unique password or biometric recognition to gain access to our network. Each workstation/server on our network is also protected by Symantec Norton Security and is physically locked to a desk or other immovable object within our office.
All student data is stored in a centralized location within our office and is protected by a comprehensive alarm system that is monitored 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Digital data is backed up on a regular basis and stored on dedicated hard drives kept in a fireproof/waterproof safe. Data on these hard drives is encrypted and password protected to ensure proper security.
